SJPS Siruseri Celebrates 8th Annual Sports Meet
The 8th Annual Sports Meet of SJPS Siruseri took place with great enthusiasm at Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in Chennai. The event witnessed active participation from students across various classes, and their performances were cheered by parents and spectators.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mr. Prince Babu Rajendran, President of the Kancheepuram Chengalpattu Self-Financing Schools Federation, who took the salute and declared the sports meet open. The event kicked off with a vibrant display of a mass drill and pyramid formation by the students, showcasing their discipline and coordination.
The atmosphere was charged with sportive spirit, with both students and parents actively engaging in the excitement of the competitions. The valedictory function was honored by the presence of Mr. Venkatesan Devarajan, a renowned Indian boxer, Olympian, and Arjuna Awardee, who delivered an inspiring address to the athletes. He also awarded medals to the victorious athletes and houses, the overall championship was bagged by the Green house .
The event saw participation from students ranging from kindergarten to higher classes, all displaying remarkable sportsmanship and team spirit throughout the various events.
