What happens inside the classrooms today has a direct outcome on what happens outside in the world tomorrow. SJPS as a school for 21st century needs to make the holistic approach bringing past, present and future requirements and also to advocate the principles of the 4 Pillars of Education.
Pillar 1 – Learning to know
Pillar 2 – Learning to do
Pillar 3 – Learning to Live together
Pillar 4 – Learning to be.

Our academic endeavour gives special importance to the way the subjects and its core values are taught to the students. Here are a few underlying thoughts how learning is made specific and serious.
Making Science Learning accessible and relevant to all pupils – This is a fundamental responsibility of the teacher and embraces the notion of inclusion, the providing of effective learning opportunities for all pupils. The seven principles that are followed are.,
- To set suitable learning challenges for all pupils
- To respond to all pupils learning needs
- To overcome the potential barriers to learning for pupils
- An important pre-requisite in science learning is motivation which will be provided enough
- The learner will be made to be actively involved in the learning experience.
- Special interest in some parts of the subject will also be taken care.
- Individuals differ in their needs and abilities. This difference in learning science is also accounted for
Young children are naturally curious. They have an irresistible tendency to explore objects, and this seems to be the basis of curiosity. The most important thing in developing a child’s interest in the subject is by taking beyond the horizons of the classroom and teaching it in a way which is innovative and separate from traditional ways of teaching.
Children can be engaged in fun activities along with general instructions of mathematics as it would help them to retain leading them to create a logical and an understanding towards their studies.
Teaching strategies which involve project based activities offer students the potential of gaining deeper insights in mathematical concepts. This strategy engages students to use critical thinking processes as they develop and answer their own questions.
Math based activities helps students tap into higher order skills, which allows them to make those all important connections between math concept and other concepts.
We at SJPS understand the trend that Computer Learning is an important tool in any educational program. It is the prime duty of the school in successfully integrating technology into the academic curriculum. This is a complex and challenging educational goal. The concept of Creativity does not occur at an instance, rather it is a continuous process which needs regular conditioning. It is here that the role of arts & craft becomes more important. Learning towards these subjects would surely help in enhancing feelings towards a more intricate and complete life.

Life Skill Education is based on the need for providing a holistic approach to the educational content as it is based on the belief that every child is unique and possesses an inner potential that seek to unfold in the process of growth. The education system in SJIRS will facilitate to unravel this potential and will help its students to help the younger generation as balanced individual with competence to face the challenges of life.
