India’s 78th Independence Day Celebrated at St. John’s Public School
St. John’s Public School celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and pride. The event, attended by the correspondent , Directors , teachers & students , began with the ceremonial flag hoisting by the school’s correspondent, Dr. R. Kishore Kumar. The hoisting of the national flag was followed by a heartwarming rendition of the national anthem.
The celebrations included vibrant cultural performances by the students, featuring patriotic songs, colorful dances, and inspiring speeches. The school’s auditorium echoed with the spirit of patriotism as students showcased their talents through various acts dedicated to the nation’s freedom struggle and its rich cultural heritage.
The Independence Day address was given by the chief guest, Mr. V. Nandhakumar, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax, Government of India. In his inspiring speech, Mr. Nandhakumar spoke about the importance of unity, responsibility, and dedication towards the nation. He encouraged students to uphold the values of integrity and hard work.
