Investiture Ceremony 

Orientation on Overseas Higher Education 

An orientation session on overseas higher education was conducted at St. John’s Public School on 16th August 2024 from 10 am to 4pm in partnership with Canam – Study Abroad. The purpose of the orientation was to provide students with comprehensive information and guidance on pursuing higher education from various countries like UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Germany & New Zealand. The session aimed to equip students with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about studying in international institutions. The Representatives from these countries participated in the one day seminar cum orientation and also provided one on one counselling to our students and parents too. 

Rangoli Fest 2024 

St. John’s public School @ Jalladianpet, Medavakkam, Chennai – 600100, witnessed a cultural extravaganza under the banner “Rangoli Fest 2024”. Around 30 schools across, the city with talented young minds converged in campus marking to around 1300 participants. The 18 events across 4 categories involving the students of classes I to XII paved way to provide opportunity for students to portray all types of skills including talents, creativity, artistic & aesthetic sense, intellectual ability, critical thinking and performing art liberally. 

Smt. Nalani Padmanbhan Director, Canara bank inaugurated the Fest on 23rd August 2024 in the midst of huge gathering and delivered the inaugural Address,. The convener of the Fest and the Correspondent Dr. R. Kishore Kumar highlighted the varieties among the young talents. The second day evening 24th August 2024 the Valedictory session in the presence of the Chief Guest Dr. G.V.Selvam, Vice President, VIT University saw the culmination with anxious and excited gathering. 

The much awaited Rangoli Fest Trophies and Awards were handed on by the Chief Guest duing the Valedictory function on 24th August 2024. The Overall winner Trophy bagged by Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School and the Runner up Trophy bagged by GGN International School Chrompet.
